Software for basic face2face interaction analysis¶
The face-to-face-interaction-analysis toolbox “face2face” allows you to use predefined functions to analyse social behavior.
The toolbox provides:
Import of own and predefined face to face interaction data sets
Creating different kind of networks
Methods for the statistical analysis of networks and Data Objects
Useful visualisation methods for the statistcal analysis
Notebook tutorials for the correct usage of the toolbox
Audience¶
The audience for this face2face toolbox includes researchers from different fields who have basic knowledge about programming and who wants to extend their methods by computational social science methods. This toolbox should give an idea on the use of Python or other programming languages on face to face interaction data sets.
Free software¶
face2face is an Open Source Project provided by GESIS CSS.
History¶
face2face was published in __.__.2020 and the original alpha version was designed by Andreas Kruff a “Data & Information Science”-Student from Cologne. The toolbox was part of his internship at GESIS. Three people have contributed to the success of face2face.
